Tomorrowland Best Overseas Festival op UK Festival Awards
In The Roundhouse te Londen zijn de UK Festival Awards 2014 uitgereikt. Deze awards hebben veel weg van de European Festival Awards, maar dan natuurlijk gebonden aan het Verenigd Koninkrijk.
Steeds meer Britten weten onze festivals te appreciëren. Het kiezen van een andere cultuur, een nieuwe omgeving, een groot thuisgevoel, een betere affiche of de internationale uitstraling zijn doorslaggevende elementen.
Voor de categorie Best Overseas Festival waren één Nederlands en maar liefst 3 Belgische festivals genomineerd. Rock Werchter, Pukkelpop en Tomorrowland mochten België vertegenwoordigen en het Pinkpop van Jan Smeets deed het dan weer voor Nederland. Maar de award voor Best Overseas Festival ging dan toch naar Belgie voor Tomorrowland 2014. De andere winnaars hebben we hieronder ook vermeld.

- The Brand Activation Award – Malibu
- Best Breakthrough Act – Wolf Alice
- The Grass Roots Festival Award – Lopallooza
