Geen Rock Werchter of andere festivals voor Dotan
De Nederlandse zanger Dotan heeft naast een reeks zaalshows, ook alle festivaloptredens geannuleerd. Hij stond geprogrammeerd op Rock Werchter op zaterdag 7 juli in The Barn, maar dat zal dus helaas niet doorgaan. Dotan moet nog verder werken aan zijn nieuwe plaat en is nog niet klaar voor live shows. Zijn verklaring kan je hieronder lezen.
Op de timetable van RW18 staat nu een lege plek van 14u20 tot 15u20. Het festival zal later nog meedelen wie de vervanger van Dotan zal worden.
“With pain in my heart I’ve had to cancel all of my shows for the coming months. As much as I was looking forward to finally getting back on stage, I am simply not ready to play new music right now. Working on new material is taking a lot longer than I ever expected and I really want my next release to be a very special one. I have to put all of my time and energy into finishing the new album right now and I really want it to be something very special. I can’t explain how incredible lucky I feel to have such loyal fans. Rock Werchter 2018 vindt plaats van 5 tot en met 8 juli in het Festivalpark van Werchter. Tickets zijn beschikbaar via Ticketmaster en combitickets kosten €238, een dagticket €102.
